Now here's a boy who's lived: lived some twenty-three turns of boisterous life. Sferrox is a big young man, about six-foot-four and broad-shouldered, with a leanly muscled build. This rangy physique is accompanied by a somewhat battered appearance, from his well-worn clothes in workman's fashion to the very masculine features of his face. His largish nose has clearly been broken at least once, and there's a straight-line scar across his left cheek that shows up paler against his tan. His square jaw is touched with stubble, while his hair is black and wavy, left to grow too long until it curls over his ears and neck and in ink-blue eyes.
He's handsome enough, in a rough-and-tumble boy-next-door way, and Sferrox'd have a very nice, rakish smile if it weren't for his teeth. Oh, they're straight enough, and white enough, but some accident has left his two top front teeth chipped slightly along their bottom edges. The effect's either roguish, almost comical, or occasionally wolfish, as the pieces missing from his front teeth make already pointed canines more prominent in turn. The crooked grin Sferrox usually musters also doesn't reveal a missing tooth on the right side, at the back of his mouth, though the widest incarnation of his smile will occasionally flash the narrow gap there. At least he's well-enough adjusted to the foibles of his mouth that they don't impair his speech.
